What exactly is Super Hair Removal (SHR)?

What areas can you treat?
We can treat pretty much anywhere except for the inside of the nostrils and inner bikini areas where the skin changes to wet, shiny skin.
Does it hurt?
No. The handpiece is cool, you’ll just feel the warmth on your skin.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is different. Factors such as hair colour and skin tone are taken into account. The majority of people need roughly 8 sessions. Hormone-influenced hair such as female top lip and chin may need more than 8 sessions.
Is the hair gone forever?
The hair is permanently reduced, it should never grow back to how it was before. We do recommend top-up visits annually if growth returns. These are usually very fine hairs. Things like hormones and medication may trigger growth.
What do I do before my sessions?
Make sure you have booked a consultation and patch test 48 hours before your first treatment. Keep the treated area out of the sun. Prior to your session, shave 24/48 hours. We need to see hair under the skin but not coming through.
